Successful Technology Event at the Big Apple

In last week’s column, I discussed what was expected at the CE Week NYC 2014 held on June 23-27, 2014 at the city that never sleeps.
Martin Porter, executive producer of the CE Week had this to say, “CE Week was a tremendous success across the board – from the largest number of exhibitors, to the biggest show floor in CE Week history to the incredible product debuts and dynamic speakers and conference sessions. This week illustrated the energy and excitement that the tech industry brings to New York City, to consumers worldwide and to the global economy.”

The following press release from the organizers who are also the producers and managers of the famous International CES held in Las Vegas, Nevada annually should be descriptive and illustrative.
“The CE Week Conference Program covered hot topics across the industry including 3D printing, robotics, augmented reality, high resolution audio and wearables. Additionally, Intel Futurist Brian David Johnson delivered a keynote discussing the future of robotics technology and featured guest-star, Jimmy the Robot, Intel’s interactive humanoid. Thursday’s keynote speaker, David Putrino , Co-Founder of Ges Therapy and StreetSmartScience, explored the revolution of healthcare through improvements in technology and the resulting direct impact on humanitarian efforts around the world.
